Michael Jackson died. If you aren’t one of those searching for his death photos, here’s something more important:
Silly lefties have never understood the free market. All that wealth creation and stuff confuses them. Where does it come from? How did you get it? And why can’t the rest of us have some?
Since they don’t understand the concept of wealth creation, they have no compunction about destroying the free market.
From such infantile minds comes the Climate Bill of 2009, or more accurately, “The American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009”
Even the pro-government Congressional Budget Office admits that it will cost us $175 per houshold. Which means it will more likely be ten times that, at least. But what the hell! That must be small potatos to people who gave away 750 billion dollars to Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street banks.
By the way, for those who are keeping score, the aforementioned Goldman Sachs (you know, one of the recipients of the TARP money) just declared record profits and will pay out record bonuses.
Just to be clear, in case some of you don’t get what just happend: Goldman Sachs used its Washington D.C. contacts, among them former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson ( a former CEO of Goldman Sachs), to take money out of YOUR pocket and put it directly into the pockets of its employees.
Below is the vote results for the climate bill.
