Bad Scripting…
Ever watched a movie where a villain who seems like a superman who can do no wrong, only to suddenly get conveniently “stupid” toward the end so that the good guys can capture him?
That’s what happened in Boston last night, only for real.
Consider This:
You are an international terrorist. You have foreign military training. You are now being blamed for one of the highest profile acts of terrorism since 9-11.
So what do you do?
A:) hunker down and hide, then use your contacts and money to escape back to where you came from.
B:) Don’t change your appearance, go on a street crime spree, rob a convenience store, carjack a car, and shoot a cop, to ensure that they now know where you are and what you look like.
Wait,
before you choose, consider that these two geniuses had actually been in the country for over over a year, according to Pete Williams at NBC.
So you might think they would choose “A.” After all, they had the money, the training, and connections to do this. They had the smarts and the resources to stay hidden for over a year.
But no, they chose “B.”
Why? What could possibly cause these guys who were previously hidden, to suddenly stand up, put a bright strobe light on their head and say, “HEY! HERE WE ARE! COME GET US?”
My guess: These guys are being cleaned up.
The MIT police officer was actually ambushed. SOMEONE, went in, trapped this guy, and murdered him. That was was what set this whole series of events off.
Sad for the cop, but a big break for the investigators looking for the terrorists.
How convenient.
Must have been a big surprise for the “terrorists” though.
Looks like being a patsy doesn’t pay at the window.
