Watching the lacky media goons go after Ron Paul is, as my old foster mother once used to say, “enough to make a preacher curse!”
The basic tactic is this: Try to find some way to make Ron Paul look inconsistent, then use that as a way of undermining his support by claiming that since he violated the principle somewhere, then we shouldn’t have principles at all.
The fact is, the captive media goons are paying him a back handed complement. They know that Ron Paul’s popularity stems from the fact that he is a principled man, unlike all the other candidates of EITHER party. After Eight years of Clinton, and Eight years of Bush, the voters would just like a nice, intelligent, principled man who means what he says and says what he means. People like that in D.C. are rarer than hen’s teeth (also something my old foster mother used to say). There is basically just Ron Paul.
The lacky media, both institutionally as well as among individual reporters, is partial to the corporate socialism model that is emerging as the primary organizing principle of the New World Order. They want big government working hand in hand with big business and everyone else living on a giant global plantation. Think of it as feudalism for the modern age.
Dr. Paul’s still wants Americans to be a free federal republic, where necessary government is pushed as far down to the local level as possible, where that government that governs best governs least, and where the federal government has little to do beyond meeting with foreign ambassadors and policing OUR borders (not other country’s borders).
The socialist and NWO flunkies are beside themselves at the thought that Ron Paul might disrupt their plans. At first they tried ignoring him, but after his record breaking fund raising campaigns that has proven difficult to do, so now they are trying to smear him, and what is the smear? You got it, Ron Paul isn’t really principled like everyone thinks.
Honestly, that’s a pretty pathetic attack. Even if it were true, how would that help the preferred candidates (any of the others will do)? It wouldn’t. The point is to just dirty him up, erode his support and create enough doubt in the voter’s mind that will allow them to push one of the others though. The NWO flunkies don’t really care who wins as long as it’s not Ron Paul. That should be enough for reasonable men to know who to vote for.
Ron Paul or no one.
I’m afraid their tactic isn’t so much turning potential Ron Paul supporters to one of their favorite goons, but trying to hold back the flood of citizens who are sick of politics but now see hope in Ron Paul. They want those citizens to just go away and not vote at all, and hope that by “dirtying” Ron Paul, they can make those citizens think he’s just another hypocritical politician. But he’s not! He’s the most principled man running, and he really can bend the course of this country back toward the right track!
Ron Paul for President 2008!!
He’s the ONLY principled man running, and that’s what is really sad. Their attempts will backfire though. The great thing about Ron Paul is that his basic decency comes through no matter how the media tries to spin it.
